Calculation of Magnetic Field of a Disc Magnet

Br: T                    L: mm               R: mm

X: mm                    Y:mm               Z:mm

Bx: mT                    By: mT               Bz: mT

B: mT

Before calculating the magnetic field, please enter the remanence value (Br in T) of the magnetic material, the geometric dimensions (R and L in mm) of the magnet and the coordinates (X, Y and Z in mm) to calculate the magnetic field at any point.

For calculating the magnetic field of a ring magnet you can consider the ring magnet (OD x ID x H) as two disc magnets, one magnet (disc magnet 1) with size OD x H and another magnet (disc magnet 2) with size ID x H. The magnetic field of the ring magnet is equal to the magnetic field diffrencce between the two disc magnets, i.e.,

Magnetic filed of ring magnet = magnetic field of disc magnet 1 - magntic field of disc magnet 2
